Sam this is an excellent posting. It is very easy to forget the meandering path to war this administration lead the American people down. For over four years now many have simply chosen to forget the numerous insidious moves the Bush White House made to legitimize a conflict that is now, in hindsight so obviously absurd. I am not surprised that to this day people still feel that Saddam Hussein posed a serious threat to our country, such effect the propaganda of the far right and the President’s cohorts had upon our national senses. For us to properly chart a future course we must first acknowledge and learn from our mistakes in the past in order to never again fall victim to such fraudulent intelligence and biased news forced down our throats by our leaders.
